The Contender is set to be broadcast online in an initiative organised by its creator, Mumbles-based Mal Pope.

The show, that tells the story of mid-20th century Welsh champion boxer Tommy Farr, ran at The Grand in 2007.

A recording of it is due to be shown at the same time on YouTube and Facebook from 7.30pm today.

As well as archive footage, the theatre continues to work on an inclusive new live programme to run after the lockdown.

The council's current online cultural services offerings include Enjoy Swansea Bay's #AtHome web page resources.

These include activities, photos and video clips from some of the huge events we've enjoyed over the past years in Swansea Bay.
